i often see this photo on blogs with no reference to the source so i thought i would give a bit more information since it is one of my favorite la residences.
originally featured in the september 2008 dwell magazine, this photo (taken by joao canziani) is of the residence of los angeles architect ray kappe which he designed and built in 1967. this is the old bedroom of ray and shelly kappes’ son finn. painting is by their other son, ron.
